In June 2024, we held the LCR Talking Business Conference at Aintree Racecourse for over 200 people from across the Liverpool City Region. I have to say working with the team at The Jockey Club was seamless from start to finish. At all times they were very responsive to any queries I had, as well as being extremely accommodating in the pre-event visits to the racecourse to discuss logistics. Nothing was too much trouble and the team clearly pride themselves on providing a first class customer experience to any incoming event. The venue itself worked perfectly for a conference of our size, with ample car parking and being extremely convenient for delegates to travel by train to Aintree station, many of whom did. Our room, the Sunloch Suite had fantastic views across the racecourse, was accessible and had ample room for exhibitors and catering all together in one room. Overall, we were extremely happy with our venue choice and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

The venue was perfect. The team were really helpful, we were able to access the room the day before to set up which was a huge help. On the day, the catering layout was the best I have seen in a long time and the food was outstanding. AV worked well even though there was a technical issue initially, but this was dealt with swiftly and didn’t hinder our day as the fault was identified before our event started.

I just had to write to say what a magnificent afternoon we had at the behind the scenes grand national tour yesterday. I booked last minute. Being a life long Red Rum fan and loving the grand national I decided to sign up and attend on my own. Absolutely no regrets, it was exceptional, Jane is so knowledgeable and her enthusiasm shines through. It was amazing being able to see the changing rooms, the stables etc, things you would not normally be able to, and the best, being able to pay respects to Rummy. There's around 60,000 people attended the national, I know not all local, but wow this would surely be any avid racegoers dream. Massive thank you to Jane and everyone involved. The history of this race must be retained, Jane brought it to life. I will look at my next run-through event with new eyes, love aintree. Thank you and sorry for long post

We came to the Grand National Tour on Sunday 29th June and I wanted to say how much we enjoyed the tour with Jane Clarke. She is such a knowledgeable lady and her enthusiasm was so contagious. She was very friendly and answered any questions that were asked. I know one gentleman on our tour had flown over from Ireland for the day to do the tour. It was a fabulous insight into the history of the race
